US Highway 75 Mill & Resurface
Halstad to Shelly, MN
US Highway 75 was once a major north-south cross-country route linking Canada and the Gulf of Mexico. In 2001, the highway was designated The Historic King of Trails. Still carrying significant north-south traffic, the nine-mile stretch between Halstad and Shelly had fallen into disrepair and needed improvements. The driving experience and safety of all users were improved by the new roadway surface, culverts, shoulders, rumble strips, guardrails, and, within Shelly’s city limits, updated storm sewers, curbs, and ADA compliant ramps and sidewalks. This nine-mile section is once again fit for a king.
