Highway 1 Grade Raise
Raising the grade of an approximate 3/4-mile stretch of North Dakota Highway 1 protects the roadway from flooding and erosion. More importantly, the road raise will keep the roadway open to the public should a flood event occur in the future.
The project scope included a hydraulic study, topographic survey, and wetlands delineation in Phase I. Phase II consisted of preparing a Project Concept Report, and Phase III services included design engineering, wetland mitigation, and permits and roadway hydraulics.
