Mills Fleet Farm
Multiple locations throughout MN, WI, and ND
WSN has provided architectural and engineering services on 36 Mills facilities over the past 35 years. Architectural precast concrete, the iconic silo entrance, and vibrant interior displays define the classic Mills Fleet Farm look.
The newest store, located in Hermantown, MN, opened in August 2016. The 183,668 sq. ft. store includes an eight-bay auto service department and is accompanied by a 17-vehicle fueling station, 4,905 sq. ft. convenience store with a 3-bay car wash. The combination of large windows and skylights provide natural light deep within the store, which will help cut electric costs.
In addition to abundant lighting, highly reflective white concrete floors help produce a bright environment for shoppers, and various raised displays showcase featured items. An energy management system controls the lighting, HVAC, and boiler and an onsite backup generator will ensure the retail store and gas station are always open. Heated sidewalks at the front door provide a safe surface throughout the year. And, with 39,000 sq. ft. of backstock, goods will always be available.
Our relationship with the Mills family has been built on honesty, integrity, and loyalty. We truly value their business and are happy to see them successfully expand into new areas of the Upper Midwest.
