Mills Fleet Farm Monticello Groundbreaking

Mills Fleet Farm broke ground on November 9th at their new Monticello, MN, location. In attendance were representatives from the City of Monticello, the Monticello Chamber of Commerce, Mills Fleet Farm, Baratto Brothers, and Widseth Smith Nolting. The 165,000-square-foot store is slated to open Fall 2017. We’re proud to be part of another Fleet Farm store, and wish our clients well as they continue to expand.

Granite Falls’ historic footbridge was built in 1935 under license from the Roebling Company—the firm famous for designing the Brooklyn Bridge. Goodhue County Rd 11 Roundabout

The Pine Island Roundabout is a continuation of MnDOT’s Highway 52 east frontage road project. Discussion of the convergence of the frontage road, Highway 52 ramps, and Goodhue County Road 11 led to the conclusion that a roundabout was the safest design alternative. The roundabout maintains the existing street connections, which was important to the City of Pine Island, Goodhue County, and MnDOT.

The 40-acre site of the new Mills Fleet Farm store in Hermantown, MN, has changed dramatically over the past 12 months. The large hill has been reshaped, multiple buildings erected, roads constructed and modified, utilities installed, and a new traffic signal added.

The new store is situated between Westberg Road and Loberg Avenue in the heart of the Hermantown Marketplace. The development of this site presented an ideal opportunity for the City of Hermantown to connect Westberg to Loberg by constructing Market Street, which borders the north end of the project.
